10 Events For Every Brighton Girl In January

2018, that’s a wrap… but as it looks 2019 will kick right off with some exciting events and things to do around Brighton. Come join us in celebrating the new year with some self care, new experiences and party!

Here are 10 events no Brighton Girl should miss this january:

1. SLOW FLOW YOGA AT ABOUT BALANCE - 3RD JANUARY

Why not start the new year with a nice and relaxing yoga session to prepare yourself for all challenges 2019 might bring? This class is £10 and only £6 if you have a karma card!

2. FOUNDATIONS FREE JUNGLE PARTY AT PATTERNS - 4TH JANUARY

If you’re into jungle and 120-140 bpm, this is your party! To kick off the first party of this new series at Patterns, they’re giving you free entry, you just need to post your name on the event’s FB page.

3. NEW LOVE: ALTERNATIVE DATING NIGHT AT PRESUMING ED’S - 4TH JANUARY

This is a dating night for everyone who might feel uncomfortable, unsafe or simply isn’t interested in conventional dating. Whether you’re asexual, polyamorous, looking for friends with benefits or are just curious, check out this dating night and you might go home with someone or at least a phone number!

4. DAVID BOWIE’S BIRTHDAY PARTY AT KOMEDIA - 11TH JANUARY

If you’re a Bowie fan, this is your event! Join us to celebrate Bowie’s birthday and legacy on the 11th of January at Komedia. They will play strictly Bowie all night long so come along in your best Bowie outfit to dance through the night with us. Tickets are between £5-£7, depending on when you buy them.

5. VEGAN COOKERY CLASS AT COWLEY CLUB - 12TH JANUARY

Whether you’re already vegan or just interested in cooking, this introductory class will certainly be to your liking. You’ll be taught to cook 8 different dishes within 5h and enjoy a huge vegan feast in the end. The cooking class will be run on a non-profit basis, check out the FB event for more details.

6. BRIGHTON PRELOVED VINTAGE KILO SALE AT THE OPEN MARKET - 13TH JANUARY

This Vintage Kilo Sale gives you the opportunity to browse through second hand clothes and buy them at a rate of only £15 per kilo! Check out the FB event to have a look at the Preloved Bundle ticket which is £14 and includes the £1 entry as well as the first kilo of clothes!

7. MOROCCAN COOK & DINE CLASS AT THE BRIGHTON COOKERY SCHOOL - 18TH JANUARY

There aren’t many cuisines healthier and more delicious than the Moroccan cuisine and why not get one of your loved ones a cooking class? For £55 all-inclusive you get Prosecco, Canapés, 3 hours of a professional cookery & dining experience, a complimentary beer or wine and soft drinks all night long!

8. MAKE PLAY CODE SATURDAY BRUNCH AT C:\SIDE QUEST - 19TH JANUARY

There’s no specific activity for this month’s meet up for all women (cis/trans) interested in coding and making games! There will be a brunch, too, so come along and join for a cup of tea and some coding!

9. 2-4-1 VEGGIE & VEGAN MONDAYS AT BREWDOG BRIGHTON - 21ST JANUARY

Every Monday you can get a 2-4-1 on vegan and veggie meals at the BrewDog! Whether you’re into seitan burgers, soy hotdogs, buffalo cauliflower or any of the other delicious, vegan treats BrewDog has to offer, you’ll definitely find something you fancy. 10. TRUFFLE SHUFFLE’S MONTHLY 80’S NIGHT OVER 25’S AT THE POP VAULT - 25TH JANUARY
