Lonely Farts Club Poetry Night at The Richmond - 15th of February
No matter if Valentine’s Day was spent with your partner on a bed of limp roses watching Gnomeo and Juliet OR spent alone, masturbating and consuming lasagne – they are celebrating all kinds of love! Put your blue shoes on and bring along your wife, your toy boy, your mate, your goose, that t-shirt you lost at Reading, definitely your mum, and your long term partner Clive that is also a swing to a night of poetry and fun. Starting at 8PM.
Valentine’s Love Chocolate Making at Bagelman - 14th of February
Instead of eating chocolate and binge-watching Netflix at home, why not join this fun workshop and make your very own chocolate creation. You will use the finest chocolate and ingredients as your Love Chocolatier takes you on a mouth watering voyage of discovery through everything CHOCOLATE! Experience an evening of indulgent, choccy-filled, valentine delights with friends, loved ones and other like-minded chocolate lovers. As an extra treat you will decorate two mini 'Love Me' bagels and taste BAGEL BEER, unique to Bagelman who is hosting our event in their private, central Brighton space. From 6:30-8 PM, tickets £38.
Funzing Talk: The Neuroscience of Love at The Walrus - 19th of February
Understading the enemy: Dr. Anna Machin is an evolutionary anthropologist, writer and broadcaster. She will explain how a wonderful cocktail of chemicals motivates us to form relationships, how a complex mix of our genetics and psychology combine to influence how we feel when we are in love and what all this new scientific knowledge means for the way we will love in the future. 7-9 PM
Anti-Valentine’s Bottomless Prosecco/Beer Dinner at The Bok Shop - 14th of February
This is an evening designed to bring people together. Singletons? Double date? Triple date? They are taking bookings for tables between 4-6 people ONLY to come and enjoy: Bottomless Prosecco OR beer, any of their burgers + a side (includes vegan and veggie options). £25 Per Head.
