Manchester Girl Book Club

  • Haunt MCR 58 Peter St, Manchester M2 3NQ (map)

Join us for our June Book Club, where we will be discussing In Memoriam by Alice Winn.

June's theme is LGBTQIA+ stories and authors for Pride month. In Memoriam tells the story of Gaunt and Ellwood, from their relationship and friendship at school through the Great War, delving into how the horrors of the trenches changes them and their relationship.

This event will be hosted at Haunt, Peter Street, in Manchester.

Whether you're a seasoned member; new to the Book Club or just want to get a feel for what we're about, grab a drink and come and join us 💕📚

We understand that coming to an event can be daunting if you haven't been to one before (or sometimes even if you have!). We really want you all to know that absolutely everyone on the Manchester Girl group is welcome.

We are a group of kind, supportive and inclusive girls who are all here with the same thing in mind - to create some strong connections and quality friendships. So please don't worry if you're feeling anxious as those anxieties will certainly fade once you’ve met us!
